I get this remove the solid rear axle thats why you can buy a competition Schumacher, Kyosho, Yokomo, Team associated, in 2024 dont need to loose a solid rear axle. As you say the Porsche/celica is now a thing rumours say it could cost £1000 as a special edition it is a fragile kit do not drive it therefore is it rc? From Nick London I had a celica with the lights on at night lost a driveshaft E-clip sprung the whole car is an E-clip

The rear axle of the Hornet EVO has a DT-02 gearbox and suspension, while the front is a completely new design. The front steering is a wiper steering system. Therefore, the mechanisms that were considered weak points in the past have been generally improved, making this a model worthy of the 40th anniversary. However, the first-generation Hornet was cool. That is why the silhouette has been improved without changing the original Hornet. from japan.

Speaking for myself only, I am primarily interested in 1980's Tamiya, yet I find the original Hornet chassis uninspiring. The Evo looks to retain the spirit of the original car, whilst providing a chassis which is at least interesting, if not actually good. I'll probably buy one.... and another one, and a Lunchbox. I appreciate the time you took to do the video it was way better than the pictures that are online they don't justify the stores value and it made my decision that I'm buying a couple when I go there in about a couple weeks

If you doNt want it, dont buy it.. I tor one want it. there are almost as many reasons to want RC as there are people who do RC.. Just let the companies find out what sells and what does not.

Can't wait for this one 😊 Actually, the kit number will (probably) not be 47508 as it is already taken by the Golf Kamei Racing gr.2 M05 re-re not long ago. Quite confusing 🤔 And, for now, we can only dream of the F40 as Tamiya does not have the Ferrari licence anymore (same with BMW), quite a bummer 😢 Luckily for us, Porsche lover, that licence is still going strong with Tamiya 😊 And a lot of people are waiting for the 787b, that's for sure 🤞🤝

The merc c11 was 114AUD at Tam Tam, it's a pitty I gotten candy green Grasshopper and had no room. Though I will add this Porsche to the collection.

Don't you just love a Porsche they are an awesome car to drive especially the rear whee drive models, getting the back end out and having a blast. Unfortunately not driven a real one yet, maybe one day. Love the Tamiya one's they are great fun made mine rear wheel drive for a bit of fun drifting it around the car park, it's on a TT02 chassis just took out the front dogbones and cups in was amazingly easy to drift like the real thing they are notoriously tail happy anyway.😊😊😊

Can't wait for this one. Will the tyranny of distance thwart us here in Aussie to get our hands on the kit.

I have the BT01 I started a few months ago that I need to get done, basically the bigger brother to the MB01 from what I have seen. I have never had an M chassis so I have been looking at this also for the collection. as for diffs pretty sure anything tt02 works for the MB and BT chassis. is that an original Clod buster I see on the floor?

If you want to run it in rear wheel drive, you’ll need to pickup a set of 53254 and inserts. These are the standard rear tire on m06 the tires included in the mb-01 for front and rear is whats used on the front of the m06, the kit mb-01 tires work ok in front wheel drive, but a waste of time as a rear drive build. Although with the drift steering setup stock tires might be ok. Nice to see some West Aussie tamiya content!

The flickering is only sometimes. Nice kit, I usually get my bearings from Plaig. I have a Mini on an M03 chassis, I also have the Lotus Europa on the M06. Need to finish the body on that one. I have to say, I'm not really a fan of the M06, is just seems overly complicated to me. I have no experience with the MB-01. Enjoying your work mate.

My next build is going to be the 6x6 school bus just for something different or maybe the black edition Lunch Box.
